Product Description
We didn’t just upgrade the formula — we rebuilt it from the ground up. Cleaner actives. Smarter delivery. A cooling, sensorial texture made specifically for Indian skin that tans, flares, and fights back in our sun and humidity. Your skin’s new calm-back plan for tan removal.
Pastel Jade Detan Cream is your path to radiant, glowing skin — the natural way. It’s time to fall in love with your skin all over again.
But this time, we’ve made it even better.
The new formula is cleaner, more effective, and more elegant — built with next-generation actives that target tan and pigmentation at the source, without a single harsh ingredient. No bleach. No steroids. No hydroquinone. No compromise.
What Changed — and Why
The old formula worked. But we asked ourselves: can we go cleaner, more effective, and more elegant? The answer was yes.
🔄 Kojic Acid → Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate (PAD)
We replaced kojic acid with a next-gen azelaic acid derivative — equally potent at fading pigmentation but significantly gentler, anti-inflammatory, and suitable for sensitive and acne-prone skin. No stinging, no irritation.
🔄 Lactic Acid + Malic Acid → Acetyl Glucosamine
Instead of chemical exfoliants that can over-strip the barrier in heat and humidity, we now use a gentle, non-acid exfoliant that promotes skin cell turnover and inhibits melanin transfer — brightening without peeling, stinging, or sensitivity.
🔄 Triethanolamine + BHT → Olive-Derived Emulsifiers + Edelweiss Extract
Out with conventional emulsifiers and synthetic antioxidants. In with Cetearyl Olivate & Sorbitan Olivate (olive-based, skin-identical feel) and Edelweiss — a high-altitude antioxidant powerhouse that protects against UV-induced pigmentation.
🆕 Added: WS-3 + Menthyl Lactate (Cooling System)
A controlled-release cooling system that gives you that instant “ahhh” feeling on application without menthol burn. Perfect for hot, humid Indian weather.
Every Ingredient Has a Purpose
No fillers, no marketing-only actives. Each ingredient is here because your skin — specifically Indian skin dealing with tanning, pigmentation, and humidity — needs it. Backed by dermatological data and used in effective concentrations.
💧 Niacinamide (Vitamin B3)
The multitasker. Inhibits melanin transfer to reduce tan and dark spots, balances oil production, strengthens your skin barrier, and improves overall texture. Safe for every skin type — including sensitive.
✨ Alpha-Arbutin
Nature’s precision brightener. Targets tyrosinase to suppress melanin production at the source — fading tan lines, sun spots, and post-inflammatory marks without irritation or rebound darkening.
🧬 Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate (Azelaic Acid Derivative)
The upgrade from kojic acid. A water-soluble azelaic acid derivative that brightens, calms redness, fights acne bacteria, and reduces pigmentation — all without the sting. Anti-inflammatory and perfect for melanin-rich skin.
🔄 Acetyl Glucosamine
Smart exfoliation without acids. Promotes cell turnover, inhibits melanin synthesis, and supports hyaluronic acid production in the skin. A gentle alternative to AHAs — no peeling, no photosensitivity, no drama.
🏔️ Edelweiss Extract (Leontopodium Alpinum)
This alpine survivor thrives at 3,000+ metres of UV exposure — so it’s packed with some of the most potent natural antioxidants on the planet. Fights free radicals, shields against photo-aging, and reduces UV-triggered tanning.
🌿 Bisabolol (Chamomile-Derived)
The ultimate skin soother. Anti-inflammatory, anti-irritant, and helps other actives penetrate more effectively. Calms redness and sensitivity instantly — your skin’s comfort layer.
🧊 WS-3 + Menthyl Lactate
Controlled-release cooling agents that deliver a refreshing sensation without the harsh tingle of menthol. Makes every application feel like relief — especially in hot, sweaty Indian weather.
🫒 Olive-Based Emulsifiers (Cetearyl Olivate & Sorbitan Olivate)
Plant-derived emulsifiers that mimic your skin’s own lipid structure. Creates a lightweight, non-greasy texture that sinks in and feels like second skin — not a heavy, suffocating mask.
🪴 Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract
Nature’s healer. Soothes, hydrates, and calms post-treatment skin. Helps reduce redness and supports the skin’s natural recovery process.
🤍 Allantoin
A gentle skin conditioner that softens and protects. Promotes cell regeneration and keeps skin smooth and comfortable after use.

How It Actually Works
De-tanning isn’t about bleaching your skin lighter. It’s about reversing the excess melanin your skin overproduces as a defence response to UV, heat, and pollution. Here’s how this formula does it — layer by layer.
Step 1 — Interrupts Melanin at the Source: Alpha-Arbutin and Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate both target tyrosinase — the enzyme responsible for triggering melanin production. This means your skin stops overproducing pigment where the tan begins.
Step 2 — Blocks Melanin Transfer: Niacinamide prevents melanosomes (melanin packages) from reaching the upper layers of your skin. Even as pigment is produced, it doesn’t show up on the surface. Tan fades instead of building up.
Step 3 — Renews the Surface: Acetyl Glucosamine accelerates natural cell turnover, gently replacing tanned, dull skin cells with fresh, even-toned ones — without the irritation or sun sensitivity of traditional acid exfoliants.
Step 4 — Shields & Calms: Edelweiss extract fights the free radical damage that triggers further pigmentation, while Bisabolol and Aloe Vera soothe inflammation so your skin heals without rebound darkening.

How to Use
Simple. No complicated 12-step routine needed.
Step 1: Cleanse — Start with a clean, dry face. Pat dry gently — no rubbing.
Step 2: Apply — Take a coin-sized amount and apply evenly across face, neck, and any tanned areas (elbows, knees, hands). Massage gently in upward circular motions.
Step 3: Wait — Leave on for 60 minutes. You’ll feel a gentle cooling sensation — that’s the WS-3 and Menthyl Lactate working. Relax and let the actives do their thing.
💡 Pro tip: For an instant glow before an event, leave on for just 10 minutes and rinse.
Step 4: Rinse & Follow Up — Rinse off with lukewarm water and pat dry. Follow with your Pastel Jade Coconut Gel or Barrier Repair Cream to lock in the results. Use 2–3 times a week for best results.
💡 For stubborn body tan: Apply a slightly thicker layer on elbows, knees, and neck. Leave for 60 minutes.
