What Changed — and Why
The old formula worked. But we asked ourselves: can we go cleaner, more effective, and more elegant? The answer was yes.
🔄 Kojic Acid → Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate (PAD)
We replaced kojic acid with a next-gen azelaic acid derivative — equally potent at fading pigmentation but significantly gentler, anti-inflammatory, and suitable for sensitive and acne-prone skin. No stinging, no irritation.
🔄 Lactic Acid + Malic Acid → Acetyl Glucosamine
Instead of chemical exfoliants that can over-strip the barrier in heat and humidity, we now use a gentle, non-acid exfoliant that promotes skin cell turnover and inhibits melanin transfer — brightening without peeling, stinging, or sensitivity.

De-tanning isn’t about bleaching your skin lighter. It’s about reversing the excess melanin your skin overproduces as a defence response to UV, heat, and pollution. Here’s how this formula does it — layer by layer.
Step 1 — Interrupts Melanin at the Source: Alpha-Arbutin and Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate both target tyrosinase — the enzyme responsible for triggering melanin production. This means your skin stops overproducing pigment where the tan begins.
Step 2 — Blocks Melanin Transfer: Niacinamide prevents melanosomes (melanin packages) from reaching the upper layers of your skin. Even as pigment is produced, it doesn’t show up on the surface. Tan fades instead of building up.
Step 3 — Renews the Surface: Acetyl Glucosamine accelerates natural cell turnover, gently replacing tanned, dull skin cells with fresh, even-toned ones — without the irritation or sun sensitivity of traditional acid exfoliants.

How to Use
Simple. No complicated 12-step routine needed.
Step 1: Cleanse — Start with a clean, dry face. Pat dry gently — no rubbing.
Step 2: Apply — Take a coin-sized amount and apply evenly across face, neck, and any tanned areas (elbows, knees, hands). Massage gently in upward circular motions.
Step 3: Wait — Leave on for 15–20 minutes. You’ll feel a gentle cooling sensation — that’s the WS-3 and Menthyl Lactate working. Relax and let the actives do their thing.
💡 Pro tip: For an instant glow before an event, leave on for just 10 minutes and rinse.
Step 4: Rinse & Follow Up — Rinse off with lukewarm water and pat dry. Follow with your Pastel Jade Coconut Gel or Barrier Repair Cream to lock in the results. Use 2–3 times a week for best results.
💡 For stubborn body tan: Apply a slightly thicker layer on elbows, knees, and neck. Leave for 20–25 minutes.
